Letter from Pastor Smith

This letter is to inform you that the financial office of Global Church Planters has moved from Trinity Baptist Church of Arlington, Texas to Southlake Baptist Church of Southlake, Texas. In 2003, when Global Church Planters was formed, an agreement was made that if Bro. Clay Reed took a church or started a church that was able to handle the day-to-day operations, Global Church Planters would be moved to Bro. Reed’s church. The time has come for this to take place. This is the normal step that was agreed upon in 2003 and approved by the board of directors.

Global Church Planters is a very productive ministry that God has blessed abundantly. Trinity Baptist Church supports Global Church Planters monthly, and will continue to do so. I will also remain a representative of Global Church Planters now and upon my retirement.

Thousands are being saved and baptized and hundreds of churches exist today because of the ministry of Global Church Planters. It will remain an independent Baptist missionary ministry, continuing on the same path that it has taken in the past.

Thank you for your consistent support of Global Church Planters. If you do not currently support Global Church Planters, please consider doing so this year.

Sincerely in Christ,
Bob W. Smith, Pastor

Letter from Pastor Reed

It is amazing to look back over the past five years to see what God has done.  When we started the ministry of Global Church Planters, we envisioned God doing something big, and we are blessed to know that God can still work miracles. Over 350 churches have been started in the past 5 years as a result of this ministry, for which we are abundantly thankful.

2009 has been a year of transition for me.  We are blessed by the many churches we are starting overseas, but we realized the necessity to start new churches in the United States as well.  It is thus that my family and I started a church in Southlake, Texas.  Simultaneously, Dr. Bob Smith announced his retirement as pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, and we decided to move the day-to-day operations of the financial office of GCP to Southlake.

We are frequently in contact with missionaries who would love to partner with Global Church Planters, and we are asking God to continue to touch the hearts of pastors and people across the United States to see more churches started. Our new theme for 2010 is “Creating Gospel Partnerships.”  We love Global Church Planters because it creates partnerships among churches to reach the billions who have never heard of the love of Christ. Please pray for us.

Blessings,
Clayton Reed
Founder and Director

Letter from Zacharri Polyak

While 2009 was financially difficult for many people, I am thankful for supporting pastors and churches who partnered with us to help plant 75 new churches last year.

Our theme for 2010 is "Creating Gospel Partnerships," which Global Church Planters has been doing for several years now.

God is using this exciting ministry to connect pastors and congregations in the United States with missionaries and national pastors in foreign countries, and together we have planted hundreds of churches and reached thousands of people for Christ.

We are thankful for our supporting pastors and churches and pray that more people all over the country would get involved with one of the most exciting missions ministries of our time.

Sincerely,
Zacharri Polyak
